I left my native country of Acores Portugal in 1980 to the United
State of America, a move that influenced my life forever.
Art has always been part of my life, using color pencils water
colors and anything I could find to work with. I began to emerge
as a serious artist in 1993, although I received private training,
I never studied painting at an institution, this allowed me independence and freedow to develop
my own style.
My art consist of different kinds of style of paintings. I love a challenge, most of my work is based in Landscapes, sea scenes,Abstracts and some still life.
My paintings are inspired from the beauty of the world itself,
a record of my experiences and ideas,an expression of the heart
and personal truth.
